Beer Fest Campaign "I CHOOSE TO RECYCLE 2010" started
On Thursday, July 8th 2010, at 12 o'clock, we have opened Beer Fest Campaign stand "I choose to recycle 2010". It is a sequel of the last year's campaign "I choose to recycle", which was announced and awarded as one of the best in year 2009, by marketing magazine Taboo.
This year, social campaign stand is placed at the plateau in front of the USCE Shopping center. Our citizens are invited to bring all the empty cans, which would be recycled afterwards, owing to the Recan Fund and Ball Packaging Europe. Last year, in this way, more than 15.000 people participated in the protection of our environment.
At the opening of the campaign, at the plateau of the USCE Shopping center, the media were addressed by Nikolaos Dimitriadis, marketing and communication director of USCE Shopping center, Boris Smoje, sales manager of the "Ball Packaging Europe", Jovana Mladenović, in front of the "Carlsberg Srbija", Biljana Bobić, representative of the "Ujedinjene srpske pivare", Tanja Dučanić, in front of "Apatinska pivara", Radmila Lazarević, representative of "BIP", then Milica Stefanović, in front of "Coca-Cola" company and Ivan Ivačković on behalf of Belgrade Cultural Network.
The topic was social responsibility of the companies they present and their intention to take part in the future in actions and activities which are socially useful.
This year Belgrade Beer Fest will take place at Usce Park, from August 18th till August 22nd 2010.
